A Warren County court calendar question usually has one right starting point: the paper already issued in your case and the court that holds the docket. Warren County splits its work across Circuit, County, Chancery, Justice, and Vicksburg Municipal courts, and no shared schedule covers them all. Treat any Warren County court calendar you find as context only. The safe last step is confirming the current date, time, and setting straight through the right clerk or court record.

The Warren County Court Calendar

No single public daily docket lists every Warren County case setting. What exists comes in three layers. The Mississippi Secretary of State publishes court terms for the Ninth Circuit and Ninth Chancery districts. Vicksburg Court Services posts recurring Municipal Court sessions. Everything else, meaning a specific hearing in a specific case, lives in a docket entry, notice, order, citation, or a clerk's confirmation.

The unauthenticated Ninth Circuit MEC Docket Report opens at a login screen. It is not a public daily calendar. It offers no date-search form either. That limit matters for a Warren County court calendar search aimed at one case. A term tells you only when the court sits. It never proves your case will be called on a given day, at a stated hour, or in a particular room.

Warren County Circuit Court Terms

The state directory works well as a planning tool for Circuit Court. Its dates mark term boundaries, not personal hearing notices. The Mississippi judicial directory and court calendar lists four 2026 Warren terms. Those terms belong to the Ninth Circuit District. The published lengths describe the term itself. They never describe an individual arraignment, motion hearing, trial, or sentencing setting.

2026 Warren Circuit term beginsPublished length
First Monday in January105 days
Fourth Tuesday in April69 days
Second Monday in July98 days
Fourth Monday in October28 days

The same directory sets grand-jury dates on the third Tuesday in January, third Monday in May, third Monday in August, and fourth Monday in October. Treat those entries as term context only. For any live Warren County court calendar question, ask the Warren County Circuit Clerk which notice or docket entry controls the case.

How to Find Your Court Date

Begin with the citation, summons, order, or most recent notice. That paper names the court. It often carries the case or citation number the clerk needs. Identify the right court first. Only then can a docket path confirm a Warren County court date. Never swap a general term calendar for the printed date on a current court paper. The paper wins.

  1. Read the latest citation, summons, order, or minute entry. Keep its exact case or citation number, including letters and leading zeros.
  2. For Circuit or County Court, use the MEC Docket Report only after authorized PAMEC access, then call the Circuit Clerk at 601-636-3961 if the setting is unclear.
  3. For Chancery, check the Ninth Chancery MEC route after authorized access and confirm the current setting with the Chancery Clerk at 601-636-4415.
  4. For County Court administration, call 601-638-8026. For a Justice Court matter, call 601-634-6402 and ask which of the three districts holds it.
  5. For a Vicksburg citation, allow the city’s stated wait of up to five days for online search availability, then call Court Services at 601-631-3742 before relying on a recurring session line.
  6. If the online path does not resolve the date, take the most recent paper to the responsible clerk counter. No official Warren source inspected confirms a public terminal or daily printed calendar.

Note: Keep the latest written notice with you. A later order or docket entry can replace an earlier Warren County setting.

Warren County Chancery Court Terms

Chancery runs on a different calendar structure than Circuit Court. The 2026 Ninth Chancery term publication governs each county. Each term starts on the first business day of the month. It ends on the last business day. That monthly span explains why a Chancery case can stay active for weeks. It still will not give you the date and time of a specific hearing.

Use the Ninth Chancery Court Information page as the official system reference. Then contact the Warren County Chancery Clerk for the live setting at 601-636-4415. Estate, guardianship, land, domestic-relations, and equity matters belong with that clerk. Do not let a shared courthouse address push your filing toward the Circuit Clerk.

Reading a Court Setting

A setting is the court event scheduled for a case. Its meaning depends on the court, the order, and the procedural stage. Warren County publishes no standard result screen for settings. So treat the fields below as a reading checklist. Match each item against the citation, order, or authorized docket record. Only then should you act on it.

DateThe scheduled day in the controlling notice, order, or authorized docket entry.
TimeThe listed appearance time. A session start may not be the time a particular case is called.
Court or venueThe court holding the matter, such as Circuit, Chancery, Justice, County, or Vicksburg Municipal.
Judge or divisionAny court, judge, or district identifier shown on the controlling record. Confirm unclear labels with the clerk.
Setting typeAn event such as arraignment, trial, hearing, review, appeal, or docket call, read with the relevant notice.

A term date is not a setting date. A recurring session does not guarantee every Warren County case gets called at that moment either. For a reliable answer, trust the most recent signed order, reset notice, or current docket entry over any old calendar printout.

Warren County Municipal Court Sessions

Vicksburg Municipal Court offers the most detailed recurring public schedule in Warren County. Its sessions cover city traffic offenses. They also cover city misdemeanor violations, not the whole county court system. The Court Services schedule orients you well. For a particular municipal appearance, though, the citation and Court Services staff control.

The Vicksburg Court Services schedule is the official source for these recurring court sessions.

Warren County court calendar information from Vicksburg Court Services

The city's Court Services material describes general context, not a case-by-case Warren County docket calendar. It mentions arraignments at 10:00 a.m. or after trials on listed court days. Another reference says Thursday at 1:00 p.m. If those descriptions differ, call Court Services at 601-631-3742 and follow your citation.

Warren County Court Setting Terms

Calendar words look routine but carry different practical effects. The terms below follow the published Warren and Vicksburg court material. Each names a type of proceeding or a move on the record. None predicts what will happen in a particular case.

Arraignment
A first appearance at which Vicksburg describes a guilty, no-contest, or not-guilty plea.
Continuance
A request to move a scheduled event. Vicksburg says trial continuance requests should be made at least two days before trial unless circumstances beyond control require otherwise.
Reset
A later setting that replaces an earlier date. No Warren-specific public code list was located, so confirm the replacement date with the clerk.
Appeal
A case-level move to a higher court. A Vicksburg guilty verdict may be appealed to Warren County Court within thirty days.

Public session information does not open every underlying court record. Domestic Violence Court and other restricted material can carry separate access limits under court rules.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

A Warren County court date is not fixed the moment paper is issued. Resets happen. A continuance order, a reset notice, or a later docket entry can replace the first setting. A printed calendar is history unless the clerk says otherwise. MEC, PAMEC, nCourt, and the city warrant database offer no public refresh schedule. The same systems offer no calendar-feed subscription or weather-closure feed. Confirm with the clerk before relying on an old date.

Vicksburg sets its own rule for continuances. The city asks that a request reach the court at least two days before trial, unless circumstances beyond a party's control make that impossible. Other Warren courts may follow different procedures. Ask each court's clerk about its current setting. Don't borrow the municipal timetable. If an attorney is involved, that attorney can tell you which notice controls. The attorney can also say whether a replacement order has been entered on the docket.

Warren County Court Date Confirmation

Knowing the building helps you route a calendar question. Circuit, County, and Chancery docket work sits at 1009 Cherry Street in Vicksburg. Each court has a separate clerk. Justice Court operates from 919 Farmer Street. Vicksburg Municipal Court and Court Services share 820 Veto Street. Before you travel to any counter, confirm that the office actually holds the case.

Circuit and County Court

Use the Circuit Clerk for Circuit and County docket confirmation: 601-636-3961. County Court also publishes 601-638-8026.

Justice and Municipal Court

Justice Court: 601-634-6402. Vicksburg Court Services: 601-631-3742.

A phone call beats guessing. An unauthenticated Warren County court calendar may not list every current hearing, so use the official routes instead. Ask the clerk whether a current notice, a docket setting, or a new order has changed the date.

What To Do If You Miss a Setting

Call the court that holds the matter right away. Have your citation or case number in hand. Ask whether a bench warrant, a failure-to-appear entry, a reset, or any other order has been entered, then follow whatever the court or a licensed attorney tells you to do. A blank online result or a recurring session does not erase a missed appearance.

Missed a Vicksburg Setting? Vicksburg states that a trial may proceed in a person’s absence, a guilty finding may produce an immediate warrant, and failure to appear may result in a bench warrant.

Call Court Services at 601-631-3742 promptly and use the citation or most recent notice to identify the matter.

For Circuit, County, Chancery, or Justice Court matters, go through the responsible clerk, not the Vicksburg municipal process. A Warren County court calendar is only an access path. It is not an order, and it cannot change what the court requires of you.
