Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or case number in a search tool on the site, the request is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. That provider processes the query and supplies any response. Warren County Court Docket does not keep or log those search words on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message so that we can respond. The message stays within our organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure. Do not send sensitive court papers, account credentials, or information that should instead go to an official clerk or court.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers can receive ordinary technical details when a page is requested. This information helps operate and maintain the service:
- The IP address associated with the device
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is supplied
- Dates and times of page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device that can help measure how visitors use the site. Analytics services may aggregate traffic information, including page activity and navigation patterns. Browser controls can block cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
We use the information described above for ordinary operation and improvement of the site. Those uses include:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Passing a submitted query to the appropriate partner service
- Understanding which content visitors use
- Identifying and addressing technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may be interest-based
No Court-Record Data on File
Warren County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case-record information. It provides general location and access information for records held by the Warren County Circuit Clerk, Chancery Clerk, Justice Court, Vicksburg Municipal Court, and official court systems. It does not create consumer reports and is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Mississippi court records have a different access framework from visitor information. The Mississippi Public Records Act, Miss. Code Title 25, Chapter 61, includes sections 25-61-5, 25-61-7, 25-61-11, 25-61-12, and 25-61-13. The Mississippi judiciary is a separate branch, however, and court inspection or copying may be controlled by the court and applicable rule, including the judicial distinction in Miss. Code section 9-1-38 and MEC procedures.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes are operated by outside companies. Information entered there is handled under the partner’s own privacy terms, not this policy. Those providers make their own retention and sharing decisions, and we do not control them. Review a partner’s privacy information before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
The site links to Warren County clerk pages, Mississippi court portals, city pages, and other outside resources. Once you follow a link, the destination’s privacy practices apply to that visit. Review those practices before providing any personal information to the destination.
Some advertising partners can track activity across sites for ad delivery. That tracking occurs on their systems, rather than on systems operated by Warren County Court Docket.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information can be received by the following categories of recipients when needed for the uses described in this policy:
- Search partners that process queries entered in their tools
- Analytics providers used to measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that serve advertisements on the site
- Law enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard safeguards intended to protect the data we collect. Internet-connected systems cannot be made completely risk-free, though, and no promise can be made that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a minor sent us personal information, contact us so that it can be removed.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law may provide rights concerning information held about you. For a court-record question, the access rule depends on the court and record type, not simply on a request under Title 25. PAMEC states that the judiciary is a separate branch and that court inspection and copying can be subject to applicable law or court rule. At a minimum, you may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information where appropriate
- Stop certain processing where applicable
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy in the future. A revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Review it periodically if you want to track changes in these practices.
Effective date: August 28, 2026
